CCISDA presented the first Innovation Awards at the Conference banquet Monday, September 29. And the winners are:

• Most Innovative Use of Technology
  California Counties Information Architecture Project
  Charles Borden, San Mateo County and Stephen Monaghan, Nevada County
  
• Best Application Serving the Public - Integrated Portals (two winners)
  --Santa Clara County "Life Events" Public Portal
  --Nevada County Citizens’ Integrated Information Portal
  
• Best IT Collaboration Among Organizations
  California VACS Association - 35 counties. Matt Carroll of Ventura County (lead county) accepted the award.
